Terms of Service

By creating an account or using CellyHub ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CellyHub is a subscription-based platform that monitors live hockey scores and triggers connected smart home devices (goal lights, Alexa skills, Govee lights, etc.) when your selected teams score. The Service depends on third-party data sources and APIs that are outside our control.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions

Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We strive to keep CellyHub available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Score data depends on third-party sports data APIs. We are not responsible for missed goal alerts due to API outages, delays, or inaccuracies in external data sources.

All content, branding, and software that make up CellyHub are owned by or licensed to CellyHub. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that goal alerts will fire for every goal in every game.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CellyHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plaintext passwords.

Usage data: We log the teams you add, celebration events (goals/wins triggered), and basic app activity to power the Service and improve it.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.

Device information: If you use the Connector Bridge, we receive your local device IP addresses for the purpose of triggering your goal light. These are not stored persistently beyond your active session.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our active database within 30 days. Celebration logs and anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.

We use industry-standard security practices including hashed passwords (bcrypt) and HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CellyHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.

Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with CellyHub. Here's how refunds work.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period. If you cancel, your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for — we do not issue partial refunds for unused days on monthly plans.

If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the Service during a billing period, contact us and we'll review your case.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within 14 days of the billing date if you have not made significant use of the Service. After 14 days, no refund is issued, but you will retain access through the end of your annual term.

Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, no charge is made during the trial period. You can cancel before the trial ends with no cost. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins and the standard refund policy applies.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at [email protected] with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We process refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse, violation of our Terms of Service, or where a refund has previously been issued for the same account.
